Abstract CotA laccase was successfully expressed from Pichia pastoris . Magnetic reduced graphene oxide (MRGO) nanocomposite synthesized and functionalized with iminodiacetic acid (IDA-NH 2 ), then chelated Cu 2+ for effective immobilization His-tagged laccase. The -chelated MRGO (MRGO-IDA-Cu ) showed 175 mg/g-support adsorption capacity. of MRGO-IDA-Cu nano-hybrid composite confirmed by Raman spectroscopy, Thermal Gravimetric Analysis, X-ray diffraction. use to improve heavy oil recovery investigated. findings revealed that the interfacial tension between water ~ 90% its original value, wettability changed oil-wet state [θ = ∼ 115.2 − 124.5°] water-wet 8.9 30.1°]. increase immobilized concentration ratio decreases value (IFT) contact angle (CA). core-flooding studies process 0.3 wt% enhanced 82.8%.
